Fiery Hill

Sensitive re-imagining of a large redbrick Victorian property in Conservation Area, to create a modern family home with striking contemporary extension and dramatic double height lounge. Dilapidated historic building restored and modernised throughout, including basement and loft conversions, side and rear extensions, and internal remodelling with new feature staircases. A simple zinc clad box appears to hover above the structural glass below, opening up new panoramic views of the extensive gardens beyond, and introducing a glass ‘halo’ to accentuate the original half-octagonal bay as a characteristic feature of this historic building.
