A contemporary pavilion extension in the garden of a Grade II Listed farmhouse dating back to the 16th Century, achieves open-plan living with a new kitchen-dining space, improved views and an immediate connection with its landscape setting. The modern addition to the fabric of the farmhouse extends the earthy colour palette with a bronzed roof structure resting lightly above a bespoke window system of glazed panels interlaced with bronze mesh. Views from the new accommodation are opened up through the careful detailing of a slim framed sliding door system, blurring the distinction between inside and out, and allowing the garden to flow into the new heart of this historic home. Full RIBA Services provided through Concept, Planning, Technical Design and Tender stages.
